Honestly, it's better experienced than explained.

Embodiment is both a process and an outcome. It's often used in trauma therapy as an antidote for dissociation, but it's also a yummy practice for anyone to experience.

It takes place as you learn to allow your sexual self to be fully felt, known, tended to, and expressed.

The sexual self is not just your raw sexual energy (i.e., feeling aroused) but also your integrated sexual energy (the heart-mind stuff).

The process of embodiment begins by turning your attention towards a specific focus within your body, like in meditation.

The next stage is to open your senses—to perceive and listen, like turning on the lights and looking around.

(Where your attention goes, energy flows.)

Then, remain curious, allowing what you sense - both subtly and grossly - to be seen, felt, known, and integrated. This opens the flow of love.

Let your body speak through you, and allow Eros to flow.

The embodiment process weaves the essence of your sexual self through the fabric of your being.

The outcome is a multidimensional expression of you as a sexual, creative being in a body in the world (awake and aware, living through the heart).

Embodiment practices always have an air of mystery. They're like treasure hunts; you don't know what you'll find.

One thing is certain: you'll feel more grounded, empowered, alive, connected, and at home in your own skin.

I'm so glad you asked. This is one of my favorite topics of discussion. Every time I write or speak on this topic, I uncover more of the yumminess that happens when you weave the spiritual and sexual together. Spiritual sexual healing is about Love, and it has many facets. Spirituality is about connection. It's about feeling fueled and fed by a source of energy much greater than you. Sex and spirit are about Love - and spiritual sexuality is about growing and expanding the felt sense of erotic love through every cell of your body. It's the result of connecting your heart and your sex - united as one. This brings you into greater alignment in your life because sexual energy is also creative energy. Our desire touches every area of our lives. Many times, we suppress or go unconscious with desire, and it becomes very one-dimensional or dormant. When you courageously open the floodgates to your inner creative energy source and work to develop a sense of consciousness with how this energy is directed, the result is nothing less than (what feels like) magic. However, it's truly just the laws of the universe playing out in your life. You get back what you give. If you're ready to become wired for pleasure, then spiritual, sexual healing is for you.

Our goal is to do everything we can to create a safe and welcoming space for your deep dive.  We know that you can't go deep unless you feel safe! We promise to consistently monitor the community, and know there are no internet trolls here. The materials inside of our community cannot be found on internet search engines.  

At the same time, we know that no one else can control your experience of safety. The raw truth is that each person helps to make it safe here by our actions.  The agreements of our community require that each woman hold herself accountable to creating a safe space by practicing radical judgement-watching, honoring confidentiality, speaking through the heart, and participating in our groups (not just lurking :).

Great question. Facebook has a vibe, and quite frankly I have trouble opening up and feeling fully free within that vibe. It feels, to me, like someone is always watching. Sexual evolution is a private, personal experience and in my heart of hearts, I wanted to create a sacred, temple-like vibe to support women's sexual healing and expansion... I just couldn't do that on Facebook. I hope you enjoy the space and find it to be helpful. 

You don't have to participate in anything that doesn't align for you. However, you're curiosity brought you here for a reason. The mind will attempt to keep us safe and comfy, preventing us from the growth we need. Start out by simply saying "Hi" in our community chat circle, and see how that feels. Say your name, where you're from, and tell us one thing that makes you feel fully alive!

Then, join a challenge. It's a very simple way to start the movement of energy. Comment about your experience, even if you say something like... "ugh i'm so nervous about participating!"

What I almost always find in women's circles is that so many women can relate to your experience and are just waiting for an opportunity to share and connect.

We practice yoga for many reasons. Pelvic floor yoga brings your attention directly to your inner source of creative energy. I love using pelvic floor yoga to help women reconnect with their sexuality because it works! Sometimes sexuality is a heavy topic, but working directly with the body allows the heaviness to unpack, and you begin to feel better and more connected as you begin to feel more comfortable diving into some of the juicier or more sensitive issues surrounding sexual expansion. Healing your sexuality is a mind, body, and spirit experience, and yoga guides us there.  Restorative yoga helps your nervous system release stress hormones so you can sink into a transcendental state and, quite frankly, feel amazing. We use yoga bandhas to work with energy, pelvic floor, and core; yin yoga for surrender; and hatha yoga for balance. It's a powerful modality and the practice on the mat teaches how to move through our lives in a good way.
